Savings

I just opened a Savings Account. Why is there a $5 difference between my balance and available balance?
Members are required to keep $5 in their Savings Account. This is your share of the credit union. Should you decide to leave Connexus, those funds will be returned to you.
Is there a free Contactless Visa® Debit Card card for Saving Accounts?
Yes, there’s a free first Contactless Visa® Debit Card card upon request. Here’s how you can contact us to request a card.
Is there a minimum balance requirement? Is there an inactivity fee?
Yes, you must maintain a minimum daily balance of $100 in your account each day to earn the disclosed APY. If no activity occurs on the account in 12 months, you do not have other accounts or loans, and the month-end balance is under $100, a $5/month Inactivity Fee is charged. Please see our Fee Schedule for full details.
